Man with accent that is not understandable that says something about Microsoft windows and something wrong with my computer. I've told them several times not to call and they just hang up and then call again. Sometimes the number is blocked or it comes up unknown. Same person calling.
These frauds keep calling (for a couple of months now) saying they are from Microsoft and that our computer has been reporting serious errors or that our "Microsoft license" has expired. They try to get you to let them install a remote access program on your computer so they can get into it and do whatever they want. All this is patently untrue. They are so rude as to actually YELL at me about their "rights" to call and threaten that my computer is going to stop working. The best thing you can do is tell them that you only have Macs and no PC's and/or just hang up on them. Whatever you do, DO NOT let them talk you into installing anything on your computer.
Says from microsoft.
Said my computer was infected and wanted information to download and get remote access to fix my computer.
Claimed to be from Microsoft. Which we all know is baloney. Asked for supervisor, who very nicely spelled his name for me, in an Indian accent - his name - Andrew Peterson. When I asked for the mailing address of the main office, he just laughed at me. Irritating as all get out. When pressed for the name of the company, he said ti was "Windows Service Center". When I asked for the main phone number for the company, he said "how stupid do you think I am?". ARGH. I am sick of this happening. These people need to be fined up the kazoo.
