Received a call from this number. They wanted my social. Obviously didn't give it to them. They said they were (wouldn't give me a name) a financial institution that could consolidate my debt. I don't have credit cards though. Obviously fishing for social security numbers

Credit consolidation. They immediately asked me for my social security number so that they could consolidate my credit cards. I have no credit cards and informed them as such. They asked again for my social security number so they could 'verify' that. You need to shut these guys down - they are operating an illegal identity theft ring.
