Caller: Portfolio recovery recording
I settled a debt with them last year and received a letter in the mail that it had been settled. Yet they still continue to call but will never say who they are and what they're call is about. I'm pretty sure they are trying to get me to say a word that will open the case back up. Don't trust them.
Portfolio Recovery are the low life pond scumbags of the collection industry. They don't care about professionalism, accuracy or violation of FCRA guidelines. They have numerous legal actions filed against them not yet including one I am finalizing. Block & Ignore, but follow up using legal resources.
