I just received a call from this number. A young lady asked if I had anyone in my household who was disabled and needed either benefits or transportation. I believe it was the former.

I answered that we did not. She revised and restated the question. I still said no. She asked me to have a nice day and ended the call!

So, I just called them back because the number is shown on my phone. A recording began to play stating the name of the "company" or whatever. The name was Claim Assistance Group. You could press 2 to speak to a representative and when I did so the call was quickly ended. So they evidently do not want you to call them! I called again and pressed 1 to add my number to the Do Not Call Registry. I was asked to enter my phone number and the # key. But I got as far as my area code and the call ended.

What does the Do No Call Registry really do? I registered my cell phone as well as my husband's cell phone and our home phone back in January of February of this year.

Somehow, unscrupulous people are getting around best intention!
