the tickets I won are REAL, i can see why some people think they are not , but i've now booked my spring break dates and i was NOT charged anything extra except i did buy a few extra nights on the island but that was my choice... if you just call the station and the cruise line you will see that its the real deal... Just FYI for anyone that wins these tickets don't listen to anyone on this site that says they are not real... just call and you'll find out for your self

I called a local # in my state on the East coast and got this radio station on the West coast saying I was lucky caller 11 and won tickets. Who wins being caller 11? I'm not paying 119.00 for taxes b4 I get tickets! sorry but I think it's a scam and all those other posts saying they got their tickets and had a wonderful time and they are booked in for later dates,,,it's easy to have peeps get on and post something to throw all the people off that wonder if it's a scam. If it's not a scam then I'm sorry I didn't get this trip. I will call a legitimate travel agency to purchase the cruise I want!

This radio station and site exist solely to give people tickets for a cruise to the bahamas that is horrible, complete with mandatory timeshare pitches. Everything will cost you money, and people have reported paying more than 2k for 2ppl for the 2 nights. Just looking at a whois shows the site was just created 2 months ago-

they keep creating new fake radio stations to keep people from finding sites like these. Wake up, you didnt win anything, and if it sounds to good to be true...

By-the-way, all you SCUM poseurs posting on our website that this is legitimate, and that you won cruises, etc. You are lowlife dirt bags working for the enemy, and there's a special place in HELL for people just like you!

Called my mobile number. Came up on caller ID as "David Breaux". I didn't recognize the number, and certainly don't know any "David Breaux". I don't answer such calls, EVER! No message left. I tried calling the number, and got: "You have reached a non-working number...". Stinks mightily of a scam caller, or possibly a bottom feeding collection agency. Likely a "spoofed" number originating out of South Asia. DO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS, EVER!

I didn't call this number, but they somehow hijacked either my landline or cell phone. Just went to call my cell phone to find it on the way to work this morning, and somehow got connected as the lucky 15th caller for a cruise. SCAM

I listen to WFJR97 almost daily. They run contests a lot. I haven't won cruise tickets but, I'm gonna keep trying. You guys that have won are lucky! I did win a t-shirt before and got it about a week later in the mail.

Not sure what the confusion is?? I just went through the booking process and it was fairly straight forward. No complaints here

I was just looking for my cell phone, and called it from my home phone and was somehow connected to this 'radio station' told to press 1 if over 18, and then connected to a super jazzed operator in the background. I could hear what sounded like a boiler room in the background. One thing that bothers me outside of paying the taxes upfront is that the station is on the East coast if it starts with a W, and K if on the west coast. How is wfjr97 LOCATION-

its a real radio station that gives away real cruise tickets... my wife just got hers emailed to her and i called and verified everything with the cruise line. whats happening here is a advertising company bought all those numbers that are one or two digits off the real numbers... when people dial those by mistake they are transferred to contests or promos... it's that simple, no one is hijacking anyones phone or phone number... its just a clever way to market, They certainly couldn't just steal peoples money off their credit cards... all you have to do is make one call and the bank will refund your money, the company would lose their credit card processing in about 3 minutes if all the people were calling and charging back on their purchase.... Slick marketing , but the offer is legit at the end of the day.....

I called and was caller 18 and they wanted my phone number for a cruise I won. It seemed a little fishy so I googled it when I got off and found this site. It sounds like a scam to me so I'm not going to the site. They already text me with a link to a site. I think the couple people that this "worked for" are in on the scam. I've never won anything from a radio station that I needed to pay money up front to qualify for before. I was trying to call a client of mine and when I hit redial they didn't answer it went to the company I was trying to reach.

Lmao, I won today's #15 caller, called back and the number was disconnected.

This company has PIRATED my business voice mail number. When I call my own voice mail--INSTEAD of my voice announcing my business --it answers with THEIR automated scam telling me or worse, MY OWN CLIENTS ---about being the 15th caller. At first, I just thought it was crossed wires or like many people have said--I thought I might have mistakenly dialed the wrong number and hung up.
But it continued every day.

I finally stayed on the line and listened to the whole commercial, and then was prompted to press the # 1 and I did. A 'live' operator comes on the phone and tells me I win--no catch or anything. and goes on to say before I can go on the cruise, I have to pay taxes up front and directs me to a website--after asking for my email and other such info.

At this point-I lose it--
I say-- I want to speak to a manager. SO UPSET. Can you imagine my clients being hijacked and solicited for money---what if they think I'm part of the scam? What if they think -I am that scam?
Some guy named KING gets on the line--he refuses to give me a full name and wants my full information --which I refuse.

I have complained to Stericycle and 1800WeAnswer which is the host of and have given them the website--the contact number--with very little attention from them. The customer rep said --"it slipped his mind" . I have been a customer for over a decade and this radio on my voice mail represents possible fraud.

I said this is was am so upset. My clients routinely call this number --this company seems to target early morning--which is their prime-time to call. Any suggestions?

I called a clients phone number from my work station today and was greeted with a recording that asked if I was over 18 and to press #1. So I did. I was greeted by a DJ on a "live" radio broadcast for radio station WFJR97. Very skeptical, but curious (should have known better), I gave him my name and phone number so he could register me in the system. (that was all--we will see what becomes of that mistake) and was told that I was the 15th caller and won 2 tickets for a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas on Holiday Cruise Line and to go to their website WFJR97.com and register. The number I called was (559) 471-2102. After I got off the phone I called the same number back. It was now disconnected. I then had a co-worker call the same number from her phone. Guess what! She was the 15th caller and won a 3 day cruise too! Go figure the odds. When she got off the phone we called the number back from her phone--- and the number was disconnected again. I went home and called the number from my home phone and it said I was the 15th caller and won 2 tickets to a Bahama cruise. I just hung up. I called it back---and it was now disconnected. You can call this number from a different phone number only once. SCAM

I dialed a wrong number and got WFJR who said I was the 21st caller and a winner of a cruise, just had to go to a website to confirm pay "taxes". After reading these comments I am NOT going to their website.

calm your anxiety, these are real tickets, the $119 pays your port tax. I just went through it the other day and received my tickets. I booked a departure date of fri jan 15th... this is a legit promo from the station. I checked and the tickets would of cost me over $500 plus I'm already booked on the ship. they asked me if i wanted extra nights and a few other upgrades but i didn't take them. so far i have not had to pay anything additional, except the tips are not included and have to be paid at the end of the cruise... that's what I know so far ...

I just called what I thought was a legit number for a Mobile Phone Co. I got thru to what was supposedly a live on air call saying that I've won a free trip on a cruise. He did say that I would need to pay the Taxes first. I went online, and did all they said. I did get a conf. email- I am a bit down now and could use a break, but I'm wondering if I just got scammed for 119.00

Someone called my son. He returned the call and they said it was a radio station and he was the 15th caller. He said they had him go on line and it seemed legit because there was an actual site. However, they took my debit card number and charged $119.00 on it for TAXES!!! Can someone please let me know if this is a scam or not? I am extremely upset having lost $119.00 right before Christmas.
