When they called here they were collecting money to support elected officials in DC that make over $100,000 a year. Yea right.

THey said they were taking donations for the veterans to help them they had a female finish call and said they are sending envelope to send money in. I am here to check to see if this was a scame. My husband is a vet this is a bad scame

Caller: a man at first then he put on a female to confirm envelope for payment

That's who they SAY they are: a Texas coalition for Law Enforcement. Really? A call from Houston calling nation-wide on the behalf of Texas Law Enforcement? Beware. Even if, by chance, it has ANYTHING to do with Law Enforcement, only PENNIES of whatever you give is likely to "get" to ANY Law Enforcement charity.
