They keep calling. This time a female claiming my windows computer has reached the maximum number of errors on the global server. Hilarious! I sure hope no one out there believes their scam!

He has been receiving calls from what appears to be a number from NY. They sound as if they are from India. They are normally abandoned, but today they had stated that there were issues with his Windows computer and it was logging the issues in their system. They had asked him if he was interested in purchasing a repair kit and they asked him for a credit card number. CTR344

Offering to fix the errors on my computer for $300. I am a Certified Desktop Engineer and there is nothing wrong with my computer. I hardly use my desktop, and my desktop is currently up to date and working perfectly.

I recieved a call earlier today and then searched up the number to see who it was. It turns out there have been reports of the number being that of a scammer. I called the number back and listened in and he was a male with an accent. I caught the name "Max" or "Maxwell". I told him that I wasnt stupid and that I know they are scammers, and hung up. I heard talking in the background too. Definitely were scammers.
