Also called me. Guy said he was the computer guy who fixed my computer. I said you must have the wrong number, he said, "no, remember I fixed your computer?" Never happened, I've never had anyone 'fix' my computer. Scam - beware

A man with a thick Indian accent called, identifying himself as “the computer guy”, and telling me he was calling to update my computer. I told him I have several computers, and asked which one he was referring to. He answered, “Windows”. When I told him I have 3 of those, and asked which one he was calling about, he hung up on me.
Beware this scam!

Someone with broken English said that they were calling because they've been notified that there are problems going on with my computer and to please get near my computer. I asked 3 times for him to remove me from the call list but he continued to insist that there are issues with my computer. After the third time, he was silent so I hung up and blocked.

Called saying his name was Calvin from "IFix Technical Support" from NY and they were receiving several critical errors from my Windows operating system and instructed me to go to my computer. I asked how it was possible that my Apple computer was sending them Windows OS errors (I haven't owned a Windows computer in over 10 years). I had asked for a callback number in case I lost him. He gave 347-347-8070. My caller ID had it as 347-347-5143.
