I just received same call, Indian accent woman said that will issue a warrant and send police to arrest me if I don't pay for missed taxes for foreign transaction. She said I need to pay for 4%extra for any foreign transactions. When I ask for my social number, she could not provide. And I told her plz send police over. Lol

They asked for me by name to which I asked who was calling. When she rattled off her name (with IRS) and badge number I laughed, said EFF YOU and hung up. The IRS never makes cold calls!!! Stupid scammers.

I have been receiving these calls claiming there was a warrant I just got one today. They call from this number then hang up and call again and leave a voice mail. That is how they get your first and last name . It is a form of harassment I am sick of this! I called them the one time and told them there was an investigation pending on them and then they hung up.

The same number just called me as he stated his information I wrote it down. Being as though I actually work for the IRS I informed him of this. He got mad and started yelling at me so I hung up. I will be taking this to the correct people at my job today and they scamming asses will be handled. They reached out to the wrong one today. Please do not fall for this. We reach out to people in writing first. And we give you a chance to repay anything you may owe. These people are scam artist. And I plan on giving them a taste of their medicine.

They left a message fron the "Investigative Dept of IRS". Said that a "warrant will be issued for your arrest unless you call me for the next 2 hours.." ... I received on 01/14/2016 a woman with an Indo/British accent. They say that they will press charges against me, the curious thing is that the know my name and last name. Anyway if there's a problem with the IRS always my accountants callme. SCAM
