I have had the same thing to happen to me. Joseph Williams from ACS called on 01/24/11 and said that I owe for a check that was outstanding and he was trying to get the money. I asked him to sent me proof of the check. He told me he could not because it was an electronic transactions. I knew that I had taken a pay day loan about five years ago. I told him I was not going to sent him anything. He had my SS#, bank info, and routing #. He kept calling on my job, I told him to stop calling me. He said he needed the money right then or he would take it to court. He said he would have the police come to my job in minutes. I told him to do that, he got angry and told me to put my supervisior on the phone. I said no and he hung up the phone. This company is a fraud.

Someone call me at this number that i have took a loan and never paid them back. that they report to court and it going to go against me and my ss#. First i didn't believe them but they provide the last four ss# of mine and it was correct even my e mail, first name last name and address was correct. so that when i started to believe because i did apply for some loan online but never accept any loan. so they say they have prove and that it going to go against my ss#. so i paid them. what should i do now? After i paid them a person call me and said he is an officer from the court that i have to paid them for the court process to cancel. so i almost did until i ask him to give me the record first before i paid. then he say he will sent me the record after he receive the money. so i told him i will come by and drop the money and he answer so quickly saying that i can't. that when i realize that something is wrong and decided to google the loan company with this number i found all this complain that are samilar to mine.saying that those guy have accent and i could not heard them clearly at all, going against my ss# what should i do.
