(347) 418-0373

I received a call from a non-English speaking man just now and he said I have an IRS complaint filed against me, and that I am to call 347-418-0373 (which is where he called from supposedly), and ask for Office Michael Black of the IRS. I figured it is a scam (duh), so I didn't call the number back, but I went along with his spiel and behaved as though I'd get right on it. Not gonna happen, guys! I hate scammers and telemarketers.

Similar situation - caller left a message asking me to turn myself into my local police department. I called back since I had read these reports and told him I was an FBI agent. Scared the crap out of them. I asked if it was Mr. Bashir from Abu Dabi and he confessed immediately. I told him the offense for harassing an FBI agent was 20 years minimum in a Federal Penitentiary and he used some rather foul language and hung up on me. Won't accept any of my calls now.

I was told this is just happening in Colorado. Can anyone tell me where you are from?

I also got a call from these guys and the fact they couldn't string a sentence together in correct English got me suspicious and that's not good especially since i owe the IRS some money. So i googled the number and found your posts so i decided to harass them!!! i called and said "Hi its me im calling you back to pay you that money" and they blocked my number. Well i taught they blocked my number because i waited a little and called again and they (Daniel) answered and i said "Hi its me again i want to give you money!!!" and he said "how much" to which i replied "how much you want" and he said $999,960.00 and
i laughed - long pause and he starts laughing... A couple hours of me harassing him later and i used a different number to call them and "Daniel" answers again and after some harassing he finally breaks and tells me his name is Abdul Bashir and he is from Abu Dhabi - well i have had quiet a number of long conversations with him since and as funny as they might be, these people are all low lives feeding off peoples misery for money. Thank you all for your posts i will continue to call this guy to try to find out more, he really did upset the wrong person

So i called them back and began harassing them saying "Hello Daniel its me again i called to pay you some money!!!" they eventually wouldn't take my call so i waited a little and called them back and said "its me again i want to pay you some money" and i start laughing - short pause and he starts laughing and asks "how much you got?" i said how much you want? his reply "$999,960.00" i said "OK if i could just have your name, DOB, SSN# and Bank Account details i will gladly pay it. The cheeky little scumbag says no problem let me just put you on hold. Anyone who tries to leach money from unfortunate people is the lowest form of scum - scum of the scum.... Well i was suspicious so googled the number and found your posts. So i decided to keep calling them back and harassing them and just had my final call where Mr Daniel Smith finally cracked. I kept calling and asking "How much do i owe you Daniel how much do i owe you Daniel?" and he just gave up and said "how much have you got?" I laughed and asked again "how much do you want" so he says he wants $999,960.00 and I laughed, short pause then he starts laughing!!! These scum feeding on other peoples misfortune is the lowest any scum could get...

SCAM the caller could barely speak English and claimed their name was officer Lee Sheldon with the police dept in my city and then provided a phone# to call him back that's not even in my state.

Same scenario - got a call from Daniel Smith saying he was with Federal Crimes Enforcement Network and I needed to call him back. This was not someone speaking English as a first language. When I returned the call, the person who answered identified themselves as Jack Marshall of the IRS (and I heard the voice in the background repeating the same thing to someone else). He said he was having this discussion monitored and if I didn't comply he was going to send a cop to arrest me. I told him what he could do with himself and he hung up.

This is officer Daniel Smith. I'm calling with the federal Crime enforcement network my number is 347-418-0373. I repeat 347-418-0373 Mr. at Read part Call me back this call is very important for you.

I just received a call from an individual with an accent indicating they were with the IRS and that they were filing a case against me. I need to call back Michael Black at 347-418-0373 and they would give me information on the case. Meanwhile 347-418-0373 is the same number they called from. When I asked why why doesn't Michael Black call me himself he said just to call. I do not owe any back taxes and always file my returns on time. I filed a complaint on www.tigta.gov website

Same as the other comments. I hung up

I go the call from the same phone number and was it was from IRS and I was sued.

Called claimed he was from the IRS. Told me to return a call to "Daniel Black". Returned the call and "Daniel" (same voice as the one that originally called) said I owed $4000 in back taxes from years 2012 - 2014. I told him that I was going to report the call to the FBI and then hung up on him.

Received the same phone call, with the same person to call back to (Daniel Black". I said that I would report to the FBI and they said "go right ahead".
