Called saying they where from the IRS. Wouldnt give me a case number and called back when I hung up the phone. Threaten to send the cops to arest me if I didnt pay the 2,000

Got a call from this number at 4:30 on 9/25/15. He said I hadn't paid my "student tax" (which doesn't exist) and that I owed the government like 2,000 dollars. I was confused and thought it was real at first and started crying and he told me to calm down and that " I don't look good when I cry" which mostly just made me angry. Then I told him I would need to call my mom to which he said I couldn't until I paid the minimum of 500 dollars. I cried harder and he was like "actually you can call your mom I'll send you the case file and you can figure everything out." Then hung up before I could say anything else. My mom and I googled the number and found out he is a scammer. I'm glad I got overly emotional and made him uncomfortable.

Called me at noon 09/25/2015. I didn't answer, he left a voice mail. Identified himself as Officer (unintelligible name possibly Brandon Oaks?). Foreign accent. He said that he was from the Internal Revenue Service and that they had 2 complaints filed against me and I needed to contact them immediately or they were going to file a lawsuit. It sounded like a call center because there was lots of background noise of other people talking. Used the number 347-418-0429.

I received a call at 12:09 am Thursday morning, September 24th, 2015. I let the call go to voice mail and the messenger, a foreign sounding male, stated that he was informing me that he was filling a lawsuit against me and I should call his business phone number.

This loser called us a11:37,Wednesday night....I sure don't appreciate this idiot and his games...wish there was a way I could find this coward and eliminate him permanently.

Called twice, once the other day, early eveni,g and just now at 10:43 pm!!! Tried calling number back and get dead air. Recorded message saying that the IRS is going to file a lawsuit against me.

Guy had the nerve to call and leave a message threatening legal action by the IRS. Called about 3:30 local time today. When the IRS sues someone, notification is sent by mail, they don't just leave a phone message.

Called me three times in about two minutes. Glad I didn't pick up!

This is an IRS scam number. Do NOT answer!!! He will threaten to send the police after you unless you send him money that he fraudulently claims you owe in back taxes.

Received a phone call 9/22/2015 at 1:51pm pacific time. The man sounded like he was from India (and was calling from New York). At first he stated he was an officer, he later said he was an irs agent. He said he was calling about "your student tax complaint." I said I haven't made a complaint. He said your university student tax has a complaint. I said this doesn't make sense. If you are with the IRS why are you calling from New York? He said we have a station here. I said that doesn't make sense. He said there is a complaint on your name with student taxes. i said that's preposterous because the IRS only contacts you through mail. he said are you high? I said excuse me. He said are you high. I said I'm going to hang up and report this to the police. Then he hung up on me.
I called the federal trade commission and reported it at 347 418 0429; if you receive anything like this I would also suggest you report it; its bad enough they are impersonating an officer and an irs agent; definitely a scammer.

Introduced himself as David from IRS and when I started asking questions about his office he couldn't come up with an address. Total scam.

Received a phone call from this number yesterday from a man by the name of David, claiming there was illegal activity against my identity. Scam. Don't answer.

Left a voicemail, introduced himself as Officer Johnny Marshall, and said there was "illegal activity against my identity" and that "if you don't want to be arrested call me back at" and gave a couple of numbers. I live in Salt Lake City, this number is based in New York. Total scam.

Don't know who this is, so didn't answer. Left some kind of unintelligible message. Called about 8pm.
