Same story as here. Idiots. I didn't talk to anyone in a different department. The guy said he was a supervisor so I told him he didn't need my authorization to cancel a service that they provide me. Told them to lose my info, lose my number and have a good day. I've never even talked to Yellow Pages. I could see how this scam could work though. Bastards.
They always call and once I tell them we don't subscribe, they always hang up. They also say we power them money.but its not true, they are most likely scamm ers.
Received the same call to our business as well today. Same scenario and conversation. Her name given when probed for more questions "Ashley" Emp ID# 54122
Got a call today from this number saying they needed to give me a cancellation number for service in the yellow pages that we have been using since 2009. I told them we have not used their services and we hadn't been billed anything and he said he would have to check his records and call me back. Ha! These people call me all the time. Evidently this is a new scam. What a waste of my time. :-(
Foreign person called and said he had received call to cancel yellow pages ad and that we owed almost $500.00. We were to get a cancellation number from another department but could NOT ask any questions about it to that person. We have never asked to be in a yellow page directory and I was SURE THIS WAS A SCAM! I'm still sure it was.

Just received a call exactly like this one described above. When I broke protocol and started asking questions to the person from the "other department" I was hung up on. I typed in this number and found these posts. The guy called back using a different voice, so I started reading these posts back to him. He started jabbering something but I was still reading aloud and eventually he hung up on me.
