I had the same call yesterday at my job. Another employee took the message and it was from a supposed Officer Joseph Dener. Didn't know who it was or what an officer from New York would want with me in the midwest! Glad I did my research!

I received the same call yesterday. She identified herself as Officer Maria Watson from the Bureau of Criminal of Investigations. I went to my local law enforcement and filed an complaint against them. The deputy handling my case stated that she call the number and google it and told me about this blog. Beware of this person. There is also a guy, both scammers with a heavy foreign accent

They have called several times leaving messages saying they are New York Police Criminal Investigations Unit. The guy says he is an agent investigating me due to three criminal cases filed against me. He wanted my date of birth and social security number to verify he was talking to right person. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND SHOULD BE CRIMINALLY CHARGED
