Same thing happened to me on eBay. He claims to be Ricki and adds $100 for the item to be shipped to Nigeria. I suggested to meet in New York City as he had a 347 NY number but he said he won't be back to 20 days later and said it's for his daughter. I don't know how he was able to buy as I did not include Africa as the list of countries that I would ship to and he was a eBay member since 1 day ago

Put a laptop up on eBay. Originally had a request to be paid $100 extra to be sent to Malaysia, total $620 from eBay Member ymy1781. Same typing style, "2015ngmorg" from NY, NY also offered $620... both requesting I send an invoice through PayPal. He texted me using a 347 area code number, different than his listed number, and area code 347 lists as a landline.

I believe I have caught a scammer in the act.
