yea they called my wife saying they were on the way to pick her up with a warrant at her job.Irs people do not call you they send you certified letters hello i called the number back this morning and told them where to go shove it....

It is a scam!! Call them back and mess with them! Give them fake everything and listen to them bring fake BS about how much you owe in back taxes. Ask them how they can sleep at night by trying to scam innocent people!

received the same automated message. I can assure you that the IRS will not call using an automated message. THEY DO NOT CALL YOU!!!!!!!

These people keep calling me and saying that the IRS is filing a law suite against me and that they are sending the police right now.. I keep asking for information and they refuse to give me any I told them that this is a scam and that they need to stop calling me and they told me that they do not speak with liars and that I will not be getting any information and they are sending the police with in the hour.. these people are fools

These morons called me at 6:45am and said they were from the IRS and that they were filing a suit against me. Right? I'm currently waiting for my tax return. SCAM!!!

Got two calls this morning too. I am a retired Federal employee. We never, NEVER called people. Any notifications are always in writing! This is a SCAM

Received 2 calls from 347-467-1068 today. Automated Recording, Not stating who they are on the voicemail. But mentions call them about the case.

Several calls by this number...347-467-1068 Saying it was the IRS and they were filing suit, this last one was "our final notice" This is a scam because not only are our taxes paid and our up to date, they owe US $ ~ I have a long time friend who works for the IRS for 32 yrs and she said they would send letters to folks, not call them (sent a messg on her Facebook as a general warning to folks about this scam about two weeks ago) this is annoying ~ esp for those who don't know it's a SCAM!!!!

I had a call first at 8:47 am this morning and then again at 11:15 am. I called the number back and was told that the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me for taxes unpaid from 2008-2012. I was given a case number and told that I had a warrant issued for me. I was told that in 4 hours my bank account would be frozen and that my SS# would be blacklisted. I asked where the warrant was filed and could not be given this information although I was given a warrant number. When I asked the person for their name they would not give it. My taxes are filed jointly and it was only against me and not my husband.

Called at 7:18 this morning Pacific Time...left a message I would be arrested unless I paid back IRS taxes. Obviously bogus. I called back anyway just to bitch them out...several times! Anyway, got my pound of flesh...clearly foreigners at a call center, with poor English and thick accents.

6:30 pacific time call. voicemail said,"Please call immediately on our department number 347-467-1068. I repeat 3474671068. Thank you." I called the number back and got, "Internal Revenue Service. How can I help you?” . IRS doesn't contact by phone, so it's an obvious scam. Dumb Bastards.

Received the same phone number at 5:30 am Pacific Time and again at 8:25. Definitely a scam! You should try to block the number.

We had a phone call around 6 am pacific time from 347.467.1068, a New York number. Automated woman's voice threatening a law suit.
We are current with all finances and up to date on taxes. I believe if it were real, you would receive a letter from an attorney
