This is a scam where the caller will give you a fake name and tell you he is a "Public Defender" for some County Public Defender's Office (has used the Lehigh County Public Defenders Office on a few occasions). Somehow, he may know the names of your children or grandchildren and tell you that your child or grandchild has been arrested, usually as a result of a DUI crash. They will urge you to send money to get him out of jail. They may add that a pregnant woman was hurt in a car crash and it was your grandson's fault. They usually ask you to wire money to Allentown, PA using the Walmart Money Gram. They are suspected to be working out of NY. TOTAL SCAM! DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO!!!!! HANG UP IMMEDIATELY!!!!
