SCAM!

They call me every once and a while, mostly "joe". The first time they knew enough about an event/my attendance to get a convo going. I have attend this particular event for years as an official pavilion organizer, so I check regularly with show agents and organizers about hotels/rates/room blocks etc. and they most certainly are not engaging cold call agents to book hotel rooms. Total scam.

I have had "Joe" a number of times most recently January 5, 2017. He knows almost enough to trick you into something. At least enough to get a conversation going. He is looking to sell hotel room blocks at an event I am attending. I have been going for years, certainly long enough to know I don't deal with booking agents, real or imagined. He is not affliliated with anyone at the event that I know (high level organizers), so my opinion: Total scam.

This guy called, foreign accent said my team needed to book Paris Hotel in Vegas for ICAS convention but he had no names for any team members. Obviously a scam that is getting info off internet in aviation related subjects, Area code comes back to NY City.

Received phone call from "Joe" asking for marketing. Got offended when I asked him if why he didn't have our companies contact for the Aviation Week 2017 show in Orlando that registered for an exhibit at the event. Guess it made too much sense as he became very agitated! Tried to tell me that our company relied on that show.... Really?! Good try!

Scammer. Company name registers as "NTP". Wanted info about a conference our company is supposedly attending. Called back twice after being asked to send an email only. Chutzpah.

I had two voice mails from this number. The caller stated his name was "Adam" and he needed to speak to me urgently about a conference my company is attending in seven months. I did not call him back.

"Sam Anderson" called and asked for the dates/hotel name and other info about an upcoming conference that my company is going to attend. Obviously a scam. He was actually really nice compared to what other reviewers have said. He gave me the name of the conference and answered most of my questions. Almost had me believe him until I asked why they had no information on their end and he had no answer to that question. But regardless, totally a scam.

Someone named "Sam" called my literary agent and told him that my accommodations for an upcoming convention were "all booked up." He then asked for my phone number so that he could call me directly, as it was "time sensitive." My agent panicked and gave him my number. He called and left a message about my participation in the upcoming convention and asked that I call him back. I confirmed my accommodations and never called him.

Called and said they were calling regarding a conference we were attending. I asked him what was the name of his company and the name he gave me was the name of the conference. I asked him for a contact email address and didn't want to give it to me. He gave me the phone number. I Called back and asked the first person that picked up what the name of their company was. They said "CHP." I then asked what the initials stood for and they didn't want to tell me. They kept interrupting me and asking if there is something I can help them with. I kept saying, "yes, there is something you can help me with, please tell me what C.H.P. stands for." Finally they reluctantly told me "Convention Housing Planning."

Very shady

Total Scammer!!!! tiold me he was calling about a conference that "we are signed up to attend" but had no names of contact. Upon asking this POS further Questions it becomes clear that he is an outside company asking about "the arrangements for this conference" I asked him WHAT arrangements he needed clarification on (technical needs, space, hotel rooms, etc) and first of he "shushed" me as i was asking for further details, and then said "yes. hotel rooms" so i asked if he was form the hotel or the conference and he finally said he was an outside company who made the "arrangements" so i told him that we make all of our own travel arrangements and would not need his services. Never did give his company name
