IRS scam.

Caller ID: New York, NY 347-560-5773, came in at 5:43pm, Sunday, 6/5/16, no message, as I didn't answer call, but once they hung up & I knew the call was dropped, I recalled this number to hear; "We're sorry, your call cannot be completed at this time. Hang up and try your call again later." What are the FCC, FTC, Attorney General, "DO NOT CALL," registry or TIGTA, doing to protect citizens from unwanted scammers, annoying, harassing/unwanted phone calls? Weekends should be respected as days of rest, enjoy being together with loved ones, and/or worship, not to be harassed by spoof, scam, threatening calls, like the one I did receive from a 209 area code, giving me a name; Steve Modern, telling me I need to call back the number immediately, as this is a second attempt from the US Treasury, with important information, and if I ignored this call, a Federal Agent from the Majestrate Court will be coming to my home to arrest me! I called the IRS, US TREASURY/ATTORNEY GENERAL, TIGTA, in Washington, DC, reported this to the "DO NOT CALL," registry, following the prompts to make the complaint, I called 311, whom did direct me to the proper agencies. Last number, like other numbers that call numerous times per day, I've called my telephone provider to have these calls blocked, & I've called agencies informing them that several calls I've received were asking for funds and using their names, to find out after speaking with them, they don't make calls to fund raise monies, and those weren't numbers from their agencies. Our government does need to step up and protect US Citizens from criminals, fraudulent scam artists who prey on vunerable people.

They call two three times a day morning afternoon and evening on my home phone and cell. I don't pickup either phone and they just hang up. Caller Id is new York, N.Y.. tired of these calls they must be stopped.

Just got a call. I answered, shouldn't have since 99% of the time unknown numbers are spam, didn't seem to be any response.

Just got Memorial Day spam
