I was called today to say I won $9000 I must go to western union to pay220$ wow they had my exes name etc and yes I believed them I then got told to pay another 440 I never did I instantly knew her name was Mary Johnson what sick people the other guy was Richard I'm like really hurt as I don't have money the to them.

I was called today on my cell phone (caller ID phone# 202-407-9056) by a man saying he was calling from the US Government Grant Department in Washington DC. He gave me an approval number to call 347-573-9347 and give the Sr. Account Manager name Paul Jefferson the approval number to release the grant money to be direct deposited into my account, but first he wanted me to go to Western Union to pay $250.00 that would be refunded to me along with the $9,000 grant money. This was too good to be true, and I looked up the phone number on google and saw the other reports. This is a team of scam artists. Be careful.

I was called by a woman today telling me I was one out of 1700 in my state being selected to receive $9,000 worth of grant money. When she called only the # "2" showed up on my caller id. She knew my name and address, she just asked me to tell her if she was correct to verify she was speaking to the right person approved for the "grant." Then she gave me a "money approval code," and the 347-573-9347#, in case we got disconnected as she transferred me to the Senior Accountant. She told me if it rang busy to hang up and keep trying. Seemed to good to be true. I did call, and talked to a man who told me his name was Nick. He wanted me to go to Western Union and pay $330 for them to process the money. I told him I would call him back and looked it up online. The Government will never call you to give you money, and if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is! I This is a team scam, and I feel bad for anyone they have fooled. Go get a real job like the rest of us!! I will be reporting them and I hope everyone does too!

They called me identifying themselves as the Federal Governmnet and they want to give me $9,500.
They want me to call a Paul Jefferson at 347-573-9347 to claim my money.
They want a credit card to post the money to.
