An arrest warrant, and my physial address (yes, he said physial) is under federal investigation. Hmmm, why would the IRS dept have my address under investigation? The guy calling is such a laughable dipshit, I can't believe anyone would actually fall for it.

These "IRS" calls used to be recorded by obviously Indian persons, trying hard to mimic American accent. This latest one sounds American accent speaking. Either they're operating now in US, or they found someone with the proper accent.

Same as all listed in comments:claiming to be Officer of IRS Brain Schneider.That a warrant for my arrest was issued.And my property was under federal investigation.First of all, the IRS ONLY communicates through USPS.Secondly, I diligently file taxes every year with a professional tax professional.Lastly,these spammers need to be prosecuted.Yeah,it at first made my heart skip a beat! lol Obviously,since I looked up the number....

Yes I received that same call from that same number using the same name Brian Schnieder. May 16, 2016 @ 3:15p.m. Something needs to be done to these people who is doing that kind of evil.

Was a recorded message. Male said I was under IRS investigation and to call him back today or I was being arrested. IRS calls don't read unassigned on the caller id. Never left a reference number, my name, my address, no information expect call him. This person had already tried this scam on my elderly mother. She called the police to see if she had a warrant. Needless to say, she didn't! All my taxes are paid in full! Will not be calling this idiot back.

Isn't it illegal to impersonate a federal officer ? Rote message left is the same as others have indicated. Of possible note: the "officer" provided no specific name for the person under investigation, the "officer" provided no case number to use when returning the call, he provided no employee ID number, etc.
