Call today 5/13/16 2:09 p.m. CDT. No name given by caller just starts out "This call is to inform you that an arrest warrant .... " Perhaps changed their method a little bit to not claim to be an IRS agent directly; only inferred. Received call last week from 979-270-6577 that was similar in nature and intent.

Just got this call too. Knew instantly it was a scam but of course had to look up the number. Interesting how all the calls were within the last couple of days. I'm sure they just switch numbers and start all over again.

I, too received same call telling me I'm going to be arrested and my house is under investigation. Same man Brian Schnieder and number. I happened to just call and a lady answered with "hello", I did not say anything and she hung up. Then I looked up the number and found these comments.

Called me and gave me the same scam speech as above. That was from 347/584-8853 in New York. Then about a half hour later got the same scam call from 213/289-9274 in California. There must be a network of scammers. Please call the FBI and report them. It is a Federal felony to impersonate an IRS officer.

This was a scam caller saying that I needed to call them to avoid federal investigation that my number was being investigated and I needed to call them about my case

Figured it was a scam. Very poor speech pattern. The IRS NEVER calls an individual. Notification comes by registered mail. DUH to the git who is calling because he is too lazy to get off his ass and find a real job.
Wonder who sold him the phone numbers. Good thing I DO have a sister that works for the IRS. Let her know but I will report my call to the IRS site.
And the stupid side of me has to ask...since when does the IRS warn people they are going to be arrested by the IRS? Doubt very seriously the IRS has powers to arrest individuals directly.

Yes just left a message that the call was from the IRS that I had a warrant out for my arrest and my property was under investigation and in danger of being seized. Sounded like a recorded voice stating to call for details. The call showed to be from New York.
