I've received 2 calls so far. I obviously know this is not the IRS & I DO NOT call back numbers I don't know.

Ditto all complaints reported: I also received a call from 213-141-5163 (ACTUALLY HAVE RECEIVED 5 CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER) with a call back number of 347-637-6194. Per the automated voice, the IRS has filed a lawsuit and as the FINAL notice, the call should be returned immediately. I NEVER answer calls where I DO NOT recognize the number or name! NEVER! Can't these scammers be STOPPED!

11:03 a.m. 5/14/16 Caller identified himself as the IRS. Said they were filing a lawsuit against us and we had to call 347-637-6194. We did not call and I checked the number online and found this site. Diane E.

Called and said we were being sued for back taxes. Said they were an IRS Officer. Gave the number 347-637-6194. i had also received a letter for back taxes prior to this. And had actually payed it so now i have reported it to the IRS as well as my Credit card Company.

Same scam text as above. Interesting twist that the answering machine indicated that the call was from "Orlando Vacation", the number was listed as local in Dallas, 214-414-9870

I just got another call from the ""IRS"" humm said to call 347-637-6194 spoke with a Officer Robert Jackson bag number IRM12581 from New York, sound like the calls when we call for help on our cell phone if you know what I mean.. said I owed 2400.00 from 2008-2013 for Freud oh hell Im going to jail and there coming to get me on a warrant today..playing with them I said omg all pay it right now, so they sent me to another Officer Mike Henry bag #22301 another accent ( I guess know specks Clear English anymore)which by the way is his extension I ask for in case we got disconnected. so i ask why his bag number is the same as his extension number..Guess they did not want my money they hung up on me. lol

I received a call from a 213 number knowing it was an unwanted call and got the 347-637-6194 number to call back. I called back and told them I knew they were a scam and want to know what they want so I can let my lawyer know, they hung up.

IRS Spam call - I keep getting calls from 213-141-5163 and the message says to call the IRS @347-637-6194 because they have filed a lawsuit against me. This is a total scam. I just paid the IRS a lot of money for my taxes.

A voice message was left on my home telephone number informing me that an Officer from the Internal Revenue Services {sic} was contacting me with an official final notice call and that a lawsuit had been filed against me. I was instructed to call their department at this phone number. I took no action except to report the incident online to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration and encourage others to do the same. The latest version is "This is the Internal Revenue Ventura County (CA) calling to inform you that a lawsuit is being filed against you". Got news for you lowlife creeps - when we find out who is making these stupid calls, your a-s is grass!!

I get these calls from IRS supposedly often. I ignore them and never answer since real IRS does not contact people by phone. This message said this was the last call to inform me of a lawsuit filed against me. God, I hope it is the LAST call as I am tired of erasing answer machine.

Me too -- fraudulent robo-call claiming to be IRS, fraudulently claiming that taxes are owed, and that a lawsuit has been filed. Its a scam!
