CALLED ABOUT STUDENT LOAN FORGIVENESS... AS SOON AS I ASKED IF IT WAS A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT COMPANY THEY HUNG UP AND DISCONNECTED MY NUMBER SO I COULDN'T CALL THEM BACK.

They call every day sometimes 2-3 times a day. Leaves a message that I can call for legal options.

Loan Scam

Only says "press 5 for your legal options". Very annoying to keep getting these calls.

No name available. The say if you cant make payments new grant available from government

that starts mid-sentence "press 5 for your legal options". I am receiving this multiple times a day. What am I paying for if your system can't block calls that I have already reported...multiple times!

Never leaves a complete message. Only says "press 5 for your legal options".

A recorded message keeps getting left in my voicemail that appears to be designed to scare people into believing they are in legal trouble. These calls seem to rotate every other morning at almost the same react time with recorded messages about payday loans. All if it is totally unsolicited and unwanted.

I had a robotic caller asking if I had any student loans or pay day advances, and they could help. So pushed the number and a lady answered asking what type of dept I was in. Basically, she said they could take care of the debt and then pay them a certain amount each month. When I asked about how would I pay them, of course the answer was through my active bank account. The lady was nice, but told her I would have to call her back, and she gave me a different number to her direct office # and ext. I wanted to look this number up and do some research , but I forgot to ask who she worked for, so all I have is this number and a number to a lady named Karen.

CID: New York City (Brooklyn). Robotic call and abbreviated msg,(front end cut off) apparent survey and possible political call asking for a telephonic signature regarding the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, and stating if you wish to oppose a 14% increase in electricity rate pricing to press #1, or press #3 to be removed from their list. Call implies that it supports green/alternative energy sources (sources not specified).

I tried to find other reports on this phone number, but didn't find postings.

The ARRA was proposed and passed by Congress in Feb. 2009, a stimulus and job-creating/retention part of Obama's economic stimulus package. There were many immediate mixed indicators, and long-term results and evaluation seem to depend on which major political party you listen to. That begs the question of why this call is made in 2015.

I couldn't find any current information on a 2015 proposed act, although there are many legislative pieces presented by both sides on economic growth, energy conservation, etc.

I also Googled ARRA 2015 New York State, since I have a NYS-based (but I am not a City resident) phone number this came in on. NADA. There is a piece in a 2013/14 Economic Report from the state, but nothing pertinent.

At this time I am at a loss to know who or why I received this call. It may be, in fact, a true survey either for or against alternative/green energy sources, or it may be a scam call, either to get the recipient to respond one way or the other, then use that info either to market, or source further calls.
