A man with a very heavy accent was pushy and difficult to understand. He stated that his name was Agent Scott Parks from the Department of Financial Investigations and that were filing a case against me and suing me for a payday loan which I never had. He had all of my private information and called me at work threatening to sue me. I asked for his name and phone # and was given two different numbers. I said I would have my attorney contact him and he said I was being recorded and had better watch what I said and that if I did not take care of this debt and pay it, then they would see me in court. I stated that would be a very good idea and he kept on and I finally hung up on him. I would very much like to know where he got my information including my bank information, ssc, drivers license and address. If anyone has an idea how to stop the people please pass it on.

According to the information provided, it appears that these calls may be a scam. Here is a link to a December 2010 News Release by the FBI regarding its investigation of these activities: http://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/paydayloanscam_120710.

DO NOT USE UNIVERSAL PAYDAY LOAN “APPLICATION LEAD SITES” ON THE INTERNET. And do not use search terms like "bad credit loans" or "payday loans" to find extensions of credit online. If consumers need to avail themselves of a payday loan product, they should first contact their state's credit regulator for a list of lenders licensed to make loans to consumers in that state. In Wisconsin, that is our Department. If a licensed lender has a website, then only use that website to apply; do not go through any type of lead application or “loan broker” site to apply for loans online. Some licensed lenders also have actual “brick-and-mortar” stores in their state. Use the store to avoid putting personal information online.

I received a call at work yesterday from a Office John Wilson with "Department of Financial Investigations. This guy stated that I had taken a loan out and did not pay and that he had a warrant for my arrest. I told him that before I spoke with him I needed some information. Below is the info I got out of him:

John Wilson
Badge # 150 NYE
Office Address: 25 Lee Count Place New Rochelle, NY 10801
Office NoL 646-462-4003 Fax No: 206-338-6145

After the man John gave me this information he wanted my information and I would not verify. He asked by why and I told him that there was no such legal department by the name he gave me. He told me he had papers for me but needed to verify me. I again told him that I would not be providing the requested info. I would be contacting the Texas Attorney General Office and the New AG's Office as well as the FBI. The caller became upset and started cussing me. I stopped him and told him I had not disrespected him and he needed to stop. He continued so I told him "Thank You for continuing to assault me verbally as I had been taping his whole conversation and it would be turned over to the State of Texas.

I have since filed complaints with all 3 agencies as well as the BBB.

If everyone that gets these calls make them give up infomation and then file complaints with facts they can be stopped. This same company contacted me before under a different name.

Rec'd call from 347-416-5175 -- Officer Scott Parks--English name but heavy Indian/Pakistan accent. He cant even say my name from the Federal Investiagation Unit. Claimed he has papers for my arrest--ended call "only God can help me on what will unfold" I just ignore his calls, never return his messages. He isnt worth the time or effort. I have reported him to local police, FTC, attorney general's office, FBI etc.

I was also contacted by this same person and informed him that I would be contacting my attorney and would have him take care of this problem. He threatened me with a case being filed. He called me at work also from 347-827-3814 and I asked for his name and # and he also gave me 347-827-3184 and 347-468-9552. Very pushy people.

Hey everybody. I received a call from this exact same number! Not once but Numerous times! Caller claimed his name was...."Officer Patrick Glacer"...and..."Officer Scott Parks". Obviously fake names due to a "middle eastern" accent. They called my work also! I am contacting the local police...AGAIN! Also the Attorney General's office.

I received a call about a loan that was supposely had to happen in 6/2010. The loan is non existence. I ask them to provide me with the information but could not. They said I owe them $550.00 ASAP. I told them to show me proof but still waiting. How do i go by reporting them as a RIP/OFF REPORT. The names of the suppose "OFFICERS" are Mark WIlliams. The numbers are 347-826-4106 and 347-826-5175. They need to stop calling with this BS and need to be shut down and arrested!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received about 5 calls TODAY ALONE from these "officers." First of all, I don't normally answer numbers I don't recognize. Second, they always leave messages with a THICK accent, perhaps Pakistan or Afghanistan. I am so sick of the bogus voicemail and non-stop calling that I finally decided to answer and request ot to be bothered again.
Let me say, they had my social security number and address!!! Although the info they had was correct, I denied that the numbers matched. Then an Officer Patrick Something-or-another said he needed my current home address so he could come to my house and "f_--" my "a_-" off!
So in addition to starting out the call attempting to scam me, they ended the call with a threat of home invasion and rape.
This is going beyond attempts to steal people's identities... what can be done about this???

My last call came from 347-827-0921. Officer something or other. He has called me at work for quite some time and I just do not take the calls. I discussed with our legal dept. Since he would not provide any info in writing my legal dept advised me to ignore the calls. He always uses a different Officer name when he call.

Andrew Fletcher called my work and left a message saying he officer Andrew Fletcher and he left a voice mail as well. When I called them Officer Williams said Fletcher was not available but sounded just like the person on my voicemail. I could hear other people talking in the back ground like you would hear if it was a telemarketer's office with sevral people doing the same thing. This man had a very strong accent and said I took a payday loan out for $300 and I owed $550 and if I did not pay now with a credit card he was going to get a warrant for my arrest and come to my doorstep and arrest me. I had a payday loan a few years ago and paid it off. The real crazy thing is they knew my SSN which kinda scares me. I don't know how they got that. He had alot of my inforamtion but when I asked him for info about this company he would get mad and insisted I pay. He hung up on me a few times then blocked his number which is a cell phone out of New York. if anyone has more info about this please email me at scott20024@yahoo.com thanks

I have no clue who this moron is but he will be getting a call from me tomorrow. He calls and identifies himself with different names but always claims to be an officer. I was told by an attorney to ask for any proof of debt via fax and or mail and that 9 times out of 10 this will stop them from future calls. If you can get a fax number from them go to Bud Hibbs website for a legal letter to challenge their claim of debt and stop calls. It works.

Calls from several different names Officer Patrick something...officer David something from financial crime investigations. Getting tons of calls and voicemails at home, on my cell, and at work claiming it is of great concern regarding fraud on a cash net loan. They told me twice this week the police were coming the next day to drag me out of work in front of everyone if I did not pay the money I owed. I have no such loan...never heard of the company. They have spoken to my boss and my boss's boss. I have filed a police report. However, this seems to only make them call even more. I am changing my phone number. I got so sick of it I told them to tell the police to come and I'll serve the time if it will put an end to this...but I do not have any money. Then this oficer Dave guy said I don't want you to go to jail. You need money, I can help you. This from the same guy who is about to have me arrested. I have no doubt it is a scam. I haven't done anything wrong. I just want it to stop. It's like bullying to the nth degree!!!!
