Man with Heavy Indian accent uses several different names and called from different numbers with threats of legal action or an online loan. It is a scam but he keeps calling with threats of legal action. He has tried to scam me with info. he fraudulently obtained has my SSN and work and cell #'s. After I advised him that I knew it was a scam and that I was recording him and forwarding the info over for investigation he hung up but called back. He has said obscene things to me on my phone and is relentless. I will be glad when he is caught and prosecuted.

This/These Ppl keep calling my wife and I about a Cash loan that neither one of us has acquired or have recieved. This caller has identified himself as a one Mr.Fletcher , Lou , Arnold Fletcher and has Now identified his self as an Officer Fletcher. This has been going on for a YEAR now. I've requested this caller to send me verification of said " Money " loan , my answer was side stepped with a Threat of Court , Arrest and Imprissonment if payment is Not Recieved . My Question is , Who do i report this to and What would my next step be to get this to stop aside from changing phone numbers again , any reasponce to this or any Info would be Greatly apprieciated .

I just got a call from this number and Charles Brown stated that I had a payday loan from 11-09. I have NEVER had a payday loan from anyone and I have my bank records to prove it. He became very irate and started saying I could prove myself in court. How do I get this stopped? He had my social and my address!!!!

I received a similar phone call this morning. Earlier in the month I received another one from a phone # from Ft. Lauderdale Florida. I reported them to the Internet Crime commission, the FCC, and my local Attorney General. If we want to stop this we must make our representatives aware of the issue.

I received the same type of threatening call from an Officer David Thomas claiming that it was regarding a payday advance loan from cashnet but strangely enough this scam artist tried a different approach and said he was calling from the legal department (same Indian accent but different establishment and different name Norman Cooper).
