Same as the above...I don't know about the Treasury Department, but if the IRS is trying to contact you, you'll receive a registered letter in the mail.

I too received such call! Heavy middle eastern accent. They guy told me that I received something in the mail from the IRS regarding my 2013 Federal tax Return& that it was misfiled. I told him there was nothing wrong and I was never contact by the IRS. He said he was going to have me arrested and hung up on me. I called the number back, and got another person, but same heavy accent. Asked for a supervisor, was put on hold, and another person got on the telephone. I then called the state police, who referred me to 1-877-FTCHELP. Where's our protection from the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT???!!!!
