yes they call me on my cell phone asking for $25.00 or $35.00 dollars them about 3 days later they send me the envelope for the $25.00 dollars and I have a problem I don,t know anything about this association so I will not send any money until I know more about this

Got call this afternoon from Eddie on behalf of United Police Officers Association, asking if could send me an envelope for me to donate/pledge at least $15 for disabled/injured police officers. I questioned that they or family should be receiving State compensation if injured or killed on the job. He also stated they lobby for more support for these officers. I told him I couldn't donate without knowing more about their organization, said sorry, and hung up. CID only showed phone # and the line of numbers starting with V.
