I have received several texts from a guy I met on line said his name was Eric Lambert he said that he was living in the U.S. but lost his wife and son in a car accident, then decided to move to Brampton Ontario Canada. I received a text from him on Friday morning he stated that he was is serious trouble in Dubai and is being held and needs money $1850.00 to be exact!!!. He said that he was driving a car that he had rented and was being chased and was shot at but the driver was hit and bleeding, then he said that he was in a taxi!!!! when I had questioned him about the rental car he earlier stated that he was driving he said that he is scared and that he accidently hit a teenager and she was taken to the hospital, and the ""pirates" took his passport, so he couldn't leave the country. He said that if he can come up with the money they will let him go!!! The more I questioned him the more he avoided the issue. I asked him where he was right now, he said that he is at the American embassy, I said they will be able to help him. But what is more suspicious is just today, he sent another email and said that he can't go to the Embassy because he has tax problems in the US!!!! I said """OH now everything is making sense, that is why you left the States and relocated to Canada!!! He just went off line. He said that he is 49yrs old, and that his parents are dead his father is from I think he said Huston TX and he met his mother in Mexico, and they only have one child which is Eric. The family traveled around different places in Europe, and the Middle East, then when he was older he returned to Mexico, that is where he met his wife and they had a son, then I'm not sure how long after his wife and son were killed in a car accident in Mexico, he said then his relatives told him to go far away, and that is why he came to Canada. He also said that he is self-employed in the Petroleum business as a consutant. That is what brought him to Dubai. Any way I hope this information can help stop this man . He is approximately 5'9" 170lbs black curly hair, short in the front , the back is just touching his shoulder dark eyes, also wears a closely shaved beard and mustache he also wears at times dark glasses, that are very big glasses not thick but very big. If there is anything else I can do please let me know, I am tired of meeting scammers like him. Thank you. Sincerely
