This is a number used by Card Member Services. The infamous Rachel. And Rachel uses many numbers. And you must know all about her, since everyone in America has gotten calls from her! And you don't seem able to stop her. I let my answering machine take the call. There was no message, but I know this is a number used by this scammer. I traced the call back to the number.

Offered a lower rate for credit card but did not identify what card or company. When I hit the pre-recorded prompt to speak to an operate I asked what company they were and for what card and the lady hung up.

Lower interest rate on credit card. I have received this call many times and told them I'm on the no call list and to remove my name and number. I don't remember the exact dates and times. They make it sound like they are the company that you get your credit card from. When I pushed 1 to speak to a representative, as soon as I started to complain they hung up.

BE CAREFUL, THIS IS A SCAM.
I just took a call from this number. The man was very difficult to understand, had a very thick Middle Eastern accent. Also there seemed to be a bad cellular connection. Anyway, he says because I am a customer who pays on time, etc with good credit history, the banks have to lower my interest rates. He said was calling from Credit Card Services. I asked "how are you going to lower my Chase, Citi, etc., cards if you are not from any of those banks? How would the banks possibly let you in to change credit rates?" He didn't answer that but tried to divert me with another question about one of my credit card balances. I said the balance due sounds right. He said do you have the expiration date on the card? And then I said no and hung up. I knew where this was heading

Major Scam to lower your credit card interest. I felt so stupid because they had all my cc info, hung up when they asked for my routing number to my checking account!
