I received a machine driven call then a person came on the line and said they werte VISA and wanted to lower our interest rate. We do not have a VISA Card. My phone recorded the phone number,time and date.

Advertised the ability to lower the rate on my credit card. I asked him which bank he represented and he reponsded that he represents "Bank of America, CITI". I am unable to remember the other banks he stated that he represents.

First claimed it was an urgent message requiring me to call about my credit card account. Then offered lower interest rates. Never identified name of company. This cell phone, which I use for personal emergencies only, is on the do not call list. I have never given it to any credit card company.

1. Recorded message was from credit card services. "This is final notice". Can help you by negotiating better interest rates on your credit cards to save you money. Press 1 to speak to an agent.

2. Agent came on the line. I asked, "who are you guys?" He said "credit card services". I said "I am on the Federal Do Not Call List and you shouldn't be calling me!". He hung up.

Caller claimed to be "Credit Card Services" offering a lowered interest rate on my credit card. Asked for expiration date, account number, etc. I said no, asked for a return number and caller hung up
