They called and left a message about being sued by the IRS. I know that this is a scam as the IRS will contact you by mail concerning any issues that they may have concerning you.

Same as above posts. Left message on my recorder stating they were the IRS and this was my final notice and they had filed a law suit against me and to call. I didn't call because it stunk.

Got a call from 724-595-6574 and then received a voicemail telling me to call the 360-369-4184 for more information. Tried calling twice before a terrible connection was established and a man with a heavy accent (maybe middle eastern?) answered and said something really fast followed by IRS and then hung up on me. Seemed shady so I googled it and I have seen nothing but scam regarding it.

Called me today at 10:56 am and left a computerized female voice. Said the same thing. They were the IRS, this was my final notice and they were filling a lawsuit against me. I tried to contact the IRS to verify this information, but there is no way to speak to a human. I am on hold with the IRS advocate's office. I am glad you all posted because now I am sure that it is a scam and I can disregard it.

A message was left on my phone saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit. I called number and was told I owe $7850 in back taxes, must pay today. Was given name of, "Jason Bell, badge #75290, Case #SR3079." I said I knew nothing about it, given to "supervisor." They said I could pay $2000 today and avoid an arrest warrent, sizeure of back accounts and lien against my home. Both guys I talked to had heavy accents, Middle Eastern I would say. Nice try, assholes.

Called me today and left message that they were the IRS with a lawsuit on me. to call them back. I called and man with accent answered I asked him where I was calling and he told me he's in Afghanistan

Received call from 724-593-6534 at 10:57 this morning, Recorded Female Voice informing me that it is my final warning that IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. Tells me to call 1-360-369-4184 in order to discuss and set terms. No human contact. Immediately reported. Notice that the "724" number from which the call originated is a real person. They may have had their identity stolen.

Calls from a CO number with a reboot message, leaves this number to call back. Claims they are the IRS and are filing a lawsuit and this is your final notice. Foreigner answers the number and if you question hangs up on you.
