If I completed a political survey I would receive a free two day cruise. What is this scam? If I did "win" a two day free cruise, what is the catch? Would the meals be a hundred dollars? These scammers are out to get something from me. How do they get my number anyway? I am on the Do Not Call list but I keep getting all these telemarketer calls so what good is the do not call list? I have to pay extra money on my phone bill so I can have caller ID in order to file these complaints. It is just not fair and they still keep calling and calling.

It seems to be an attempt to sell a 2-day cruise to the Bahamas in exchange for completing a political survey. The cruise is supposedly free, but fees are required for taxes, around $59 per person, which is not stated upfront, before the survey, but only at the end. It is a hard-sell pitch and people are told that the offer is only momentary - it will not last, so they cannot think about it or discuss it with a spouse before committing. They are required to give their credit card or bank information right then. If they go through with the transaction, they are told about other fees as well, such as fees for parking the car, meals, and room upgrades. In all, it comes out to be in excess of $200 per person - none of which was sought out by the customer/victim/recipient of the call. It may not be a scam per se, as I do believe the cruise is real, but it's certainly an unsolicited sales call and it is disguised as a political call to get around DNC list requirements.

Liars! They say it's a survey, but don't be fooled. It's a big scam.

Starts as if it is a political survey but it is actually a travel promotion for a trip to the Bahamas with "gratutities and a small fee not included in free promotion"/. I have gotten this call from this number and others similar with the exact same voice but different openers...same ulitmate offer. I called 3 times to be removed and it only made things worse. They are not a political action committee and this loophole should never have been included in legislation since it only allows abuse. I get these calls at all hours of the day but turn off phones at night. Every day! at all of my numbers...972-294-4808, 972-488-9777 and 214-707-3764. I have to pay for those on the later number and will take a deduction on my income taxes as a political contribution if this is not resolved since that is the loop hole they are using and our legislators gave it to them. One hour after my cell phone today I got one from the same number with the ID IND SUR GROP.
