Political Survey Group called offering a Carribean Cruise. The whole thing sounded like a scam to me.

This call is also coming from 206-496-0948 and I have received the same call from three times from 503-457-1368. Selecting the "Do Not Call" option does no good. I've tried that several times.

Are they trying to sell the cruise?
I haven't waited for the survey, etc.
I requested removal, but they keep calling.
I'm on the "no call list", but I guess that it doesn't apply to them.

Recorded message begins by stating they are taking a "short political survey" BUT...the message continues stating survey participants will be eligible for a "free Bahama cruise thanks to a generous donor." The political survey is used to disguise the sales pitch.

I don't answer and they always leave the same message, along the lines of "you've been selected to participate in a political poll, but it is now concluded; if you wish to have your phone number removed from our files please press 1". I get the same message when I call them back and have my number removed, yet they continue to call from other phone numbers in the 360 area code.

Under the guise of a political survey, you would be awarded a cruise for participation. At the end, you have to send money for the cruise

Stated it was taking a survey then awarding a free cruise to the Bahamas that would require fees. I did not stay on the line long enough to take the survey because i realized it was a scam. The message presents itself as a survey organization, but I do not believe that is the main purpose and this seemed to be backed up when I looked up the phone number online.
