The automated message was a female's voice and was rather fast speaking, making it rather hard to write down everything that was stated in the message. Bits and pieces were:
"Hi this is Ann from account services... with good news... Effective today ... Federal Reserve has just...can reduce interest rate to 4.9% ... Need to respond immediately ... Consider this your final notice... press 1 now to lower your interest rate."

There was NO option to "remove my number".

Pressed #1 key, got a man who started asking me about credit balances and how many cards. I went along with the speil, then he started asking specifics about the expiration date for an an accessible credit card. When I said I hadn't thought about which card, he hung up.

After pressing the #1 key, I heard the standard ringing for maybe 10-12 times, then evidently the call was disconnected.

Trying to lower my credit card interest rates if I have over $10,000 in credit card debt. I have spoken to people and told them to take my name off their calling list. They keep calling my home phone, my cell and my husbands cell.
