Lowering my interest rate on credit card debt. They asked for my credit card numbers and other personal information (like SS number) to "verify my accounts". However, I have no credit card debt. I believe this is a scam to steal my identity.

Reduce the interest rate on credit card balances. As I said before, they ask how much debt you have. If it is above $3000, and if you can (or will) provide them with a card number in "good standing", i.e. has available credit, then and only then do they promise to give you a business address. I have attempted to answer every call in order to either get some information to pass on, or to get them scared enough to finally get my phone numbers out their system.

Refinancing credit cards. Sounded like a fishing scam, they refused to identify themselves and asked for my credit card number.

Hi this is Anne calling you about good news for a low interest credit card, this is your final notice. This company calls us every other day, and at least 3 times weekly, though I submitted many complains about them with the FTC, yet the company never stop.

The recording didn't specify. It just said that it was calling about a "marketable service". Original call was a hang up. Recording was received only on calling the number back.
