Lower your credit card interest rate. Press '1' to talk with a representative. I pressed 1, was connected to 'Amy'. I asked what the name of the company was and was promptly disconnected. I have received calls like this from different caller ID's (previously reported). I hope you can bring the power of your ogranization to bear on these frustrating sleezy companies.

reducing my credit card interest rates
I once stayed on the line and got as far as them asking for my credit card number! I wouldn't give it to them as much as they tried to convince me otherwise.

The automated message was a female's voice and was rather fast, making it rather hard to write down everything that was stated in the message. Bits and pieces were: "Hi this is Ann from account services... with good news... Effective immediately ... Federal Reserve ...can reduce interest rate to 4.9% ... Need to respond immediately ... Consider this your final notice... press 1 now...

Pressed the #1 key to "lower my interest rate". There was NO option to "remove my number".

After pressing the #1 key, I heard the standard ringing for maybe 10-12 times, then evidently the call was disconnected.

This is the THIRD call with the same message from the SAME number received since June 1st

The recorded message offered to lower my interest rate on my credit card and to press one to connect to someone. I pressed one to speak to someone to get more information in order to report them and they hung up on me.
