Offer to reduce interest rate on outstanding credit card balances (Visa, MC only). Must qualify, and provide the card number of a account currently in "good standing" (no late pays, with available credit). When I ask them for a business address, an application form, a privacy act statement, they refuse.

They say they can lower my interest on my credit cards. They say they work with Visa and Mastercard. (I do not carry any balances on Visa or Mastercard).

The automated message was: "Hi this is Ann from account services... with good news... Effective immediately ... Federal Reserve ...can reduce interest rate to 4.9% ... Need to respond immediately ... Consider this your final notice... press 1 now...

When I pressed 1 (there was NO option to STOP receiving the calls), the call was disconnected before I was routed to a person.

They called offering me a lower interest rate on credit cards. I have told these people at least 13 times to put me on their "Do Not Call List" and they hang up. I have also tried calling them immediately back and I get a prerecorded message that the number has been disconnected.
