"Free" cruise, though from all the other complaints online, they charge your credit card for hundreds of dollars.

After saying the call was for a political survey it then said by answering the survey I would be given a free cruise. I hung up without giving any input but online research by others who did complete the survey says that they offer a short cruise for $120 and the option to upgrade to a more expensive cruise as well.

The number promised me a free cruise for two for completing the survey.

It seems to be an attempt to sell a 2-day cruise to the Bahamas in exchange for completing a political survey. The cruise is supposedly free, but fees are required for taxes, around $59 per person, which is not stated upfront, before the survey, but only at the end. It is a hard-sell pitch and people are told that the offer is only momentary - it will not last, so they cannot think about it or discuss it with a spouse before committing. They are required to give their credit card or bank information right then. If they go through with the transaction, they are told about other fees as well, such as fees for parking the car, meals, and room upgrades. In all, it comes out to be in excess of $200 per person - none of which was sought out by the customer/victim/recipient of the call. It may not be a scam per se, as I do believe the cruise is real, but it's certainly an unsolicited sales call and it is disguised as a political call to get around DNC list requirements.

A "free" cruise for answering a political survey, but then they want your credit card number for $118 in "port fees." It is a scam.
