360-633-9302 called by Heather Silverdale, WA. Number called was 903-340-7472 our cell. 02/07/2013 @ 10AM. This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez. They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls. They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls. This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

The call suggested that I connect with them to lower my service charge on my credit card, but it wasn't from one of my credit cards. It's obviously a fraudulent call, and it auto disconnected quickly when I didn't press #2 on my keypad to connect with an operator.

No message. I called back and received the following devious message, "The number you dialed was a spoofed phone number. Leave your name and phone number and we will contact you with more information." It is obviously a scam to collect names and phone numbers from gullible people after randomly dialing people, hanging up but providing a caller id in the hopes that people will provide their own information.
