called 9 am. did not answer unknown number. suspect scammer

Called morning of 12/16 at 9:45 a.m. I didn't answer and no message was left on my answering machine. CID showed phone # and "HPH." Because of previous behavior of caller, appears this is either a telemarketer, prankster or a scammer of some sort.

Call came in while I was out this afternoon. Answering machine picked up, but no message was left. Only thing recorded was about 20 seconds of silence, followed by static, and finally about 10 seconds of dial tone. CID only showed phone # and HPH. (Note there are several companies using these initials).

Call rec'd 5/23 about 9:30 a.m. local time. My answering machine had already picked up and my message had begun by the time I answered. I heard some apparent background coughing and said I was on line, however waited until my message finished and then asked if caller still there. No further response, so I hung up. CID only showed phone # and "HPH." Reverse number lookup showed possibly caller was using a landline in Vancouver, WA and that name possibly could have been Larry Cramer.
