They left a recorded message stating we were hiding money from the IRS. I called it back and foreign person answered I stated this call was being recorded by the local police and he immediately hung up. I tried called back and the number was busy.

Stupid foreigners calling saying they are from IRS FRAUD department. Telling me the police will be here in at my place in 30 minutes if I don't pay the money I owed.. Scammers!!!!

I just got a call from them. Acting like a federal officer giving me a badge number and so called warrant number. He used our previous local cheif of police name. Funny which I know his wife along with other fellow police officers in my county. As soon as I told him this and that I was contacting officer Brown he hung up. SPAM SPAM SPAM

Thank you for posting. I also received a call. Several calls as they keep dialing. I knew it was a scam. My question is who do you report it to? Is there a way to make them stop?

Do not respond, it's fraudulent. The IRS would send you a letter, they won't call you. This is the 2nd time they have tired to pull this crap, about a year ago they tried the same thing and I reported them to the government.

They called me today and said the same thing - from IRS Fraud Investigation, warrant out for arrest, wanting money immediately. Broken English. Shady.
