Well these people with India accents have been very busy! I just got a voicemail and called back, you can barely understand them and if you ask any questions they hang up on you.
The first time I called they verified my number and when I told the guy i could barely understand him, he mumbled something and disconnected the call.
I called back and asked for a supervisor or manager, got hung up on.
Call number 3 i simply explained I had gotten a call from them and the guy responded "No.". I said yes, I did, I have a voicemail, call number 3 disconnected.
Have fun suing me...this will be a hoot!
The number registered Black Diamon, WA and said the IRS is suing me. Why would the IRS call me to tell me they are suing me, Not! Also said this was the last attempt to contact me.
Got two calls today and decided to get to the bottom of it. I answered the second call and the robot voice said the IRS was suing me and that I needed to call the same number that dialed me. Obviously, this was very suspicious. I did dial the number from my work line and after the phone rang at least 12 times, someone picked up saying it is the IRS. I asked why they were calling me. They asked for my cell phone number to look up the file. I gave it to them and they said they were looking for someone I've never heard of. Totally shady.
This number called me too. I recognized it as doubtful and checked here. Found several people had already nailed it as a scam. The first hint was the description as the "final call." There had been no previous calls! The second clue was the stilted language stating first, IRS and second, Internal Revenue Services. Third, the real IRS communicates in writing and does not rush to file lawsuits. Finally, I have never been asked to call the IRS at a non-800 hundred number.
360-851-1726- Got a call telling me I am being sued by the IRS. This is the 3rd time in a year. I always look up numbers like this before I return a call. It's a scam!
