Same think over here, they did not leave a message but I call back this suspicious number because I was looking for some verbal fight, that is my nature, I like to argue to the extreme if the other party is ready we can go on and on when I have spare time.
The first guy answered saying "internal revenue service", when i told him that this call is being recorded and what can I do for him, he hung up.

I called again, this time another guy who does mumble some kind of English answered, unfortunately his English was not understandable, still I stayed on, telling him that the call is recorded and that since they claim to be irs, i want the id number and his name. He said his name was Mike Brown and I proceed to tell him that he is a sucker that can be landed in hot water for pretending to be the IRS.
I told him that the IRS does not call people to ask for money with threats of lawsuits. From time to time he would keep a long silence maybe hoping that I will go but i was pushing him and returning the tables on him, he finally hung up and told me that I will see him in the next 45 mns.
I do not think these suckers would call me again.

Received a recorded msg from IRS requesting immediate call back. I did and requested they take me off their call list. A woman with a thick accent shouted into the phone "then stop calling me".
I called back again requesting name and id number.

Didn't answer, but they left an automated voice mail that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and I needed to call back immediately. The number came up as Castle Rock, WA.

Got a call with an automated (computer) voicemail saying I needed to call back immediately. I called and someone with a very thick accent said it was the Internal Revenue Service, but he couldn't hear me and just started repeating HELLO HELLO HELLO like a crazy person. I hung up. Scam.

I returned the call and spoke to a woman who says her name was Officer Carter badge ID # IRM11729. She had my name and address and stated that IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. I asked what did she want me to do about it and she asked me to make a payment....that's when I hung up.

I won't be scammed out...
