Just got a call from a guy claiming to be with the Firefighters Association, I think it was a robo call with someone on the other end clicking responses. "He" would not stop when I tried to interrupt until he got to the end of his sentences. Call was looking for donations for burned children. I asked what county the donations were for, he said the Firefighters Association was based in Santa Anna California. I asked why he was calling someone in Texas then, he said the Firefighters Association is a National Organization and again asked for donations for burned children. I asked what about the news report that I saw that said Fire Departments do not solicit over the phone. He said oh, ok and hung up. I googled the number and it looks like the call originated in Yorktown Texas. Seriously, how stupid do you have to be to fall for this $#^! ?
