I received a call from this number yesterday. After reading previous comments, this seems to be the same scam that's been trying to reach me for years. They know my name and the type of vehicle I drive. I've reported this to the No Call Registry numerous times. I have also told them to remove me from their list. A lot of good that did!

My spam blocker got it but I don't want to have to pay for these blockers. Have been on DO NOT CALL LIST for 9 years. It is MY private cell

calls from this number are coming out of corpus christi, texas as a forwarding scam soicitation. report to international security division

Caller ID lists location as "Alice, Texas". After numerous calls from this number, with no message left on voice mail, I finally decided to answer. "David" stated he was calling to set me up for contact from an insurance agent who would most likely save me $$. He was aware of my vehicle type, and when I told him I was not interested, he became fairly insistent and rude. He talked over me when I attempted to explain I was perfectly content with my current agent. I asked him to add me to their DO NOT CALL listing immediately. It sounded like a foreign call center, and I believe there are legitimate agents who are unfortunately now subscribing to this type of service -in order to boost new client activity.
