I KNEW THE CALL WAS A SCAM, BUT DECIDED TO ANSWER THE CALL.
MALE CALLER WITH A HEAVY MIDDLE EASTERN ACCENT TOLD ME WANTED TO LOWER THE INTEREST RATE ON MY CAPITAL ONE CREDIT CARD.
I HUNG UP.
10 MINUTES LATER I CALLED 386-206-6374, ONLY TO GET THE RECORDED MESSAGE THE PHONE NUMBER HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED AND IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE.
