This is a new number from the phishing phone creeps! They will call again soon, with a different number, location, and sales pitch.
It is probably part of the "Heather" group. For more info on this, google "Stop Heather". This group has been in action for several years and nobody has been able to track them down, stop and prosecute them.
Contacting authorities, filing complaints and using a blow horn in the ear piece is useless against these yahoo's. I've tried everything... Nothing!

I just called again, curiosity, and a male recorded voice informed me that I needed to add a 1 and a 0 before the number, as the number had changed.

Got a robo call that said "This is urgent press 1 for English 2 for Spanish". Pressed 1. Guy comes on and says "This is the Warranty Service Center and it was my last chance to extend my warranty on my car". He then asked for the make model and year(red flag but i went along). I chatted him up long as I could. He said I could extend the warranty on my 03 crown vic til 2013 for #2900.00 And they had a program where it wouldn't cost me any interest(WHAT LUCK). I then asked what was the name of the company He says "Admin of Ford". Me: "Wait didn't you say Warranty Service Center?" "Can I get your phone number so I can call you back after I research your company?" He hung up. Star 69 gave 386 736 8732. This number is registered to

They call , then hang up...Who is it?

I encourage everyone to please file an online complaint form via the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov and select "Telemarketing, Prerecorded Messages and Do-Not-Call" everytime a solicitor like this calls you. The FCC recommends filing online, but they provide a pdf of Form 1088E on this site as well.

I filed several complaints about them on donotcall.gov and every forum such as this one, but they just keep calling. Same pre-recorded message regarding auto warranty renewal. If you press 1 to speak to someone they just hang up on you when you ask them to remove phone number from their solicitor list. I just wish somebody could make them stop.
