the do not call list does not apply to them they are doing surveys only look up the do not call list on the federal goverment web site.

THIS SPECIFIC CALL CAME AT APROXIMATELY 8:15 PM 03/10/2011. NO MESSAGE WAS LEFT AND I DID NOT ANSWER . HAVE HAD A NUMBER OF UNSOLICITED CALLS RECENTLY. A SURVEY: TOLD THEM WE ARE ON NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST. POLITE YOUNG MAN ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS AND SAID THE CALLS ARE RANDOM GENERATED NUMBERS BUT HE WOULD PUT OUR # ON A LIST TO KEEP IT FROM BEING USED AGAIN. THAT CALL CAME FROM ARKANSAS.THAT WAS REFRESHING COMPARED WITH UNPLEASANT CALLS WE HAVE HAD FROM OTHER SOURCES .
SEVERAL OTHER CALLS HAVE COME AT ALL HOURS OF THE DAY AND NIGHT FROM VARIOUS NUMBERS BUT MY MEMORY TELLS ME THEY WERE FROM THE SAME AREA CODE AS THIS LAST "NO MESSAGE HANG UP" FROM THE 402. MANY ARE ALSO NO MESSAGE HANG UPS OR THEY DO NOT SPEAK OR RESPOND IF YOU SAY HELLO, SO I BELIEVE THEY ARE COMPUTER GENERATED TO IDENTIFY NUMBERS THAT WILL ANSWER FOR LATER LIVE REPRESENTATIVE ANNOYING CALLS.
WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT IF WE DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY ASSOCIATED WITH THE CALLING COMPANY WE CANNOT INVOKE DO NOT CALL, AND I BELIEVE CHARITYS AND LEGITIMATE SURVEYS ARE ALSO EXEMPT FROM THE DO NOT CALL REGULATIONS. I AM NOT 1000% SURE ON THAT LAST BIT BUT I AM PRETTY SURE.

SINCE I THINK THIS REPORT WILL BE LISTED HERE WITH THE ONES I HAVE BEEN READING THAT SOUND LIKE WHAT WE HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH, I WOULD ENCOURAGE, ACTUALLY URGE, ANY WHO ARE ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY TO REPORT ANY AND ALL CALLS THEY RECEIVE TO THE REGISTRY. THE FINES THAT THESE WEASELS WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR JUST ONE CALL TO SOMEONE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST WILL CURL THEIR TOES. IF ENOUGH PEOPLE REPORT THEM THEIR BOTTOM LINE WILL SUFFER A SUBSTANTIAL LOSS AND THAT IS PROBABLY THE BEST WAY TO GET THE POINT ACROSS TO THEM THAT THEY WILL LOSE MONEY IF THEY KEEP IT UP. HOPE THIS GETS POSTED.

This company called me and tried to get me to go look at a timeshare condo in Orlando. I am on the do not call list and when I told them that they claimed they are exempt from it because they are offering "free" vacations. Then they tried to get a credit card number to "hold the reservation" and said it would only be charged $1200 if I didn't buy a timeshare. Scam - hang up on them!

I find if I pick up the phone to disconnect their call, after 1 or 2 times they stop calling. So much for the Do Not Call List....

The girl on the other line started to read her required Song & Dance. Then she stopped sudenly and said her computer went blank and ended the call. Why do companies feel these Surveyors will actually help their business in any fashion?

Received phone call on my cell 3/30/2010 at 6:25 p.m. and again 3/31/2010 at 2:31 p.m. neither times did the called leave a message.....I hope they do not call again!
