I just received a call from Amy Strickland in the Office of Financial Affairs. She advised I owed $3,702, but could pay restitution of $1,167.52 today or be arrested tomorrow at my office. I asked her name, which was Amy Strickland and her phone number 614-407-3292. I told her I would have my attorney give her a call and she hung up on me. I called the number back and just got a voice message/ Scared the bajeebas out of me for sure. Please be aware of this scam. Anybody I can call to report this? They have been calling for weeks, just happened to pick up the phone this time.

Merely contact the FTC. I've already filed a complaint with them and provided them with this link. Nothing to worry about. They will get caught if they are in this country.

I was called by 402-817-7913 and a VM was left. I called back and spoke to someone named AMY STRICKLAND at the Office of Financial Affairs. She had info on my name, address, last 4 of social. I pressed for more info. Was only told that there were 2 Class C felony warrants out for me. Similar to everything above/below and I could pay restitution or get a lawyer. I informed her after being put on hold to give me an amount that there is no such thing as a Class C felony in Virginia. It didnt phase her, said she would contact my employer and I would be arrested tomorrow. Said to GOVERN MYSELF ACCORDINGLY. Clearly part of their script as I have seen that exact phrase multiple times. Have no doubt tomorrow will pass with nothing happening and I will get another call Wednesday. These people are literally the worst. One more piece of info is she said they are located at the KEELINE BLDG. 367 S 17th Street Omaha Nebraska 68102

Why are these people still able to continue to scam innocent lives? Why isn't this being stopped? This company called me today threatening me that they were going to have a warrant out for my arrest if I didn't pay them for a loan I took out which I had not done so. They said I would have 2 felonies on my records and would be going to jail tonight. The two numbers I had were 402-817-7910 and 614-4070976. The first person I spoke to was a Morgan Banks and then a Thomas Gibson.
They were really convincing so I contacted my attorney and also a fraud attorney and both said DO NOT give them any money. If it is legit (which it isn't) attorney's can't go after people like that for money and can't threaten them. Also, the company refused to send me any documentation proving that I owed this money.

Also note that they are using other numbers, e.g., 951-9324, 951-9326. They finally don't call me anymore because I don't answer the phone or respond to them.

its crazy. They cuss at you too and when I ask questions they hang up!!I call them back they keep rejecting my calls. I said I have never did a payday loan or had West coast bank, then they threating with being arrested!! He told me I needed to pay my bills and get anger counseling, WOW-how are they getting the social security number??

No name given.threatening me about a lawsuit being filed with my county. I asked what for, he said a bad check. I don't have checks to write. Knew it was fraud so i hung up. They keep calling back leaving messages

Just received the same phone call. I WILL contact the proper authorities. When I told them my husband is an attorney and that the phone call is being recorded, he said his line is being recorded also. I told him I know its a scam I am reading all about it, he said Walmart is a scam too.

I get this call every day & has been going on for months saying if they don't hear from me or my attorney by end of day the case will be filed with the county.It comes from different numbers how can you stop them!!!

A very nasty representative called to accuse me of check fraud. She told me they were going to initiate "search and locate" so I could be arrested for a Class C felony. I didn't do anything! I have bad credit, but that's about it.

Call received from an unknown American-sounding female caller who left a message: "Last attempt to reach you or your attorney about a case to be filed in your county. Contact us at 402-454-7320. Good Luck". No other information provided. A phone number search lists "Office of Financial Affairs" in Madison and/or Omaha, Nebraska.
